Sundays Never Fail

I love Sundays so much!!  It is the one day of the week that I feel like I can relax, It is the day of rest, the day I can focus on the Lord and not of the World!
Today was the Brigham City Temple Dedication and Holy cow it was so amazing and the Spirit was so strong!!  I know that the Temple is the house of the Lord! I know that we can go there to recieve inspiration, and the Lord will help us with our struggles.  The Temple is the House of God and he wants all his children to go there.
After the Dedication my roommates and I had a wonderful breakfast for lunch! It was delicious!  We had homemade pancakes, hash-browns, "beacon", eggs, and pink lemonade!  After we were all done eating we had four pancakes left and someone asked what should we do with them?  Next thing we know we taped them to B-10's apartment! It was a wonderful adventure!

This is What happened!! :D  It was great! :D We have a little bit too much fun! hehe

After our lunch adventure I took a wonderful nap. :)  When I woke up I started writing in my Journal and then I decided to try something, I studied my Patriarchal Blessing and it was the coolest experience I have had for a while.  For those of you who do not know what a Patriarchal Blessing is, it is a special blessing that we as Latter Day Saints can get that help us guide our life.  It is a really cool blessing and I took time to study it today and try to figure out what some things mean, or what some things I think will mean.  While doing this it showed to me that I am being helped in my life and that I have callings in my life and I am not alone!  It was a really cool personal experience!

Tonight we had dinner as an apartment along with Spencer and Adam who live across the grass from us.  It was so yummy! Tiffany made it and boy was it good!! :D  Oh before dinner we had to get help from Spencer and Adam because we couldn't get the stopper that stops the water in the sink to come out, but we were able to get it out with some help, then we had dinner! and Alison and Billie also had dinner with us too!

After dinner we watched 17 Miracles! Oh my goodness this movie is so incredible!! I can watch it over and over and it will always make me tear up!  It is such a wonderful movie and has an amazing story!  If you haven't seen it watch it! It is well worth your time! :)

Sundays are the BEST!! I have the best roommates ever!! I love them so much and they help me everyday! :D I am so blessed to have them in my life!

Camp Scofield!

This Summer I worked at Scofield Boy Scout Camp! :D I love this place with all my heart! I do wondering why out of all the places this summer, why I worked there. Because I promise you it was NOT because of Money! But one thing I know is I was suppose to work at this camp this summer and I loved every minute of it! I would like to share a few experiences. One of which was because was after the fire.
Coming back to camp and just driving into Scofield brought tears to my eyes, this is one of the experience when I drove into camp I new I was home, I new that this is where I was suppose to be this past summer. Even though right now I am being tested with wondering how I am going to be paying for school I do know the Lord has a plan for me I just hope I see this plan soon because it is getting a little bit hard still trying to find a job in Ephraim, and making me worry a little bit...
Another experience was my last week of camp, So each week each staff was assigned a troop friend, and to be honest I wasn't the best troop friend I know I could have been but this troop didn't care they still loved me and I loved them. So here is a little story about my awesome troop the last week! So after closing campfire I went and visited my troop but on the way I stopped at another troop because that morning when I was going to flag up top they stopped me and was like your the girl that can sing, I said maybe and then they asked if I would sing to them I said not right now but I will come back tonight and sing you a song. So Ava came with me and sang It's a Web Like a Spiders Web song, the sad thing is when we went most of them weren't there so the leader recorded us to show his boys...it wasn't that scary. After that we went to my troop and they were finishing up talking about this week of camp and then one my my scouts gave a spiritual thought and then I asked if I could say something, my little something was like five minutes and then Bo there leader stood up and was like Amber has set a mood for a testimony meeting so all five of my boys got up and bore there testimony(man I am getting teary eyed just typing this) I am so happy to have the gospel in my life man life would be so much harder without it. then Jeff our camp director came up to talk to one of the leaders in my troop and he bore his testimony and then Ava did and while Ava was talking I had an impression to sing I Am A Child Of God, I just sang one verse Oakcrest style(faster beat) I think I might of messed up the words..it was a little scary at first and I was trying not to cry which made it harder but I did it and I know I needed too! and then Ava and I sang the Spider Song and went down to our staff Christmas party! but man it was one of the coolest things to be the main reason why we had a testimony meeting Oh my goodness SO SO COOL!!!
Camp was Awesome and we had some amazing Moments! We have our hard times but we can work through the bumps and climb mountains if we believe in ourselves. I loved working in the Trading Post and helping out around camp I would love to work at camp again if I can. I made friend this summer that I will always have and I am greatful for that. :)
A few of us Girls :)

Camp is such a pretty place, the  Lord blesses us so much we just need    to look for his miracles.

Fires are scary!

Hey Guys!!! So I work at a Boy Scout Camp, Camp Scofield and yesterday I was evacuated due to the Seeley Fire . Now that I am home I have started to worry a little bit. When I was up at camp I was comforted and I new that all of us would be safe. On Tuesday we watched the fire grow, we could only see the smoke but we watched that smoke grow and that night I even took some pictures, some of them are really cool because the sun was hitting it just right but it is also a scary thing. Here is a picture when the sun isn't hitting it like the one before: Here is one of the pictures I took that I think turned out awesome, I love our country! :) Here is a picture at night and sometimes you could see the glow of the fire: On Wednesday morning the smoke was not as bad so I really didn't think we would get evacuated. We woke up like normal and we had flags at 7:30pm My troop did flags and we sang the turtle song. (we as staff have troop friends, it is the best!) and then we went to breakfast and we had eggs, hash-browns, and YUMMY banana bread!! Then before breakfast ended there was announcement that we would have a scout master meeting at 9am and that all programs would start at 9am instead of 9:30am. This meeting was about if we needed to be evacuated and what would happen. So we went on the rest of the morning like normal. Only difference was I was answering phone calls from people's ward/families who were wondering if we are being evacuated and I would just say at this time we are not we are in contact with the forest people and we are safe but we are prepared if we need too. The biggest reason why I had the phone was if Rosanna called she was the one who would tell us if we needed to be evacuated. It was about 10:30ish when we received her call I went to give the phone to Colton and then he talked to Jeff and not five minutes later we had the sheriff guys telling us that needed to leave. So we shut everything down and told everyone that it was time to back and to not worry they had tell noon and us as staff had to be out by 5pm. We as staff helped everyone back up camp and leave. They had options to go to other camps or to just go home. Once all the scouts were all gone it was time for us (staff) To pack our things and go home. It is really weird to be home when you know you should be at camp working. We don't have camp next week because of the 4th of July and this might just be a blessing. I keep looking online to see if there is anymore news about the fire or not. I want to know where the fire is, it is weird to think about that it could go through camp in the next few days, and part of me thinks it might but the other part doesn't think it will. Well this is the story about my experience so far with the Seeley fire my heart goes out to the firefighters and I thank them for there hard work. I just wish all the fires in Utah would stop and no more would come, that would be nice. I've never hated fires so much in my life. Everyone have a Wonderful Day!! Love you all!! :D

March Starts out Strong!

Hey You guys!!
Well I should be studying right know for my Spanish and History test, and maybe still doing some Math Homework. But pretty much I am super frustrated with it! My math homework I keep getting wrong with these really lame mistakes and it is just making me mad! and well you can only study so much before you go completely CRAZY!!! So this is why it is Stressful! and I am uber tired.
Why am I uber tired well I was thankful that I was able to sleep a little bit last night because I new that I would find out about if I made Student Body Advocate this morning! I work up I think at twoish and then again at 4:20 and then next thing I know there are three lovely girls coming in my room with pots and pans waking me up telling me to get my shoes on! What the heck! But when I finally somewhat realized what was happening I was like OOO!! So I put on some awesome Halloween socks and my rain boots and grabbed a hoodie and then they put a pillow case over my head! (this was between 5-6 in the morning)
They took us on an adventure and when all seven of us who had been elected for Student Body Advocate 2012-2013! We were all in the middle and they said on the count of three take off your pillow cases and when we did so they all jumped towards us screaming and saying congratulations or something like that! Oh my goodness SO SO SO cool!!
Then we got to eat breakfast! YUMMY!! towards the end when most of us were finishing eating they had all of us newbies give a speech! When it was my turn I had no clue what to say just that I am so excited and that I have always wanted to do something like this and that I could just cry! SO GREAT!!! Oh and also when I first stood up I was like I totally dressed up for you guys and modeled my outfit, which was capri monkey pj's, Halloween knee socks, rain boots, and my hoodie! SUPER! Oh my goodness I just can not wait to get to know my team better and to meet all the SBA's who will be appointed! So far I just love everyone and I am so excited!!!
When I got back to my apartment I came in my room and Brittany turns over and says congrats and smiles and I just laugh and I am all giggly. SUPER HAPPY!!! :) Then Brittany told me to stop smiling! haha YA RIGHT!! so then we both just kept on laughing!! :D I called my mom and then I called my dad to tell them the good news and I even got to talk to my little brother Zaner he is super cute!
All day today I have been having people tell me congrats and it just makes me feel so uber cool and so special! I thank the Student Body of Snow College for electing me and letting me have this wonderful opportunity! It is going to ROCK and next year will be the BEST ever!!! :D
Here is a side note! I know that the Lord has a plan for us and they he is there to help us every step of the way! He knows what we need more than our self, and he makes us go through challenges. But he knows we can handle them and he knows what we need in our life. If you put him first in all that you do everything else will just fall into place! I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I am so proud to be a part of it!!
Thank You for Reading! :D Love you all!! :D

Good and more Good

Hey You guys!
Well life has just been super dandy! This past weekend I got to spend time with my family and it was wonderful! I love them a ton!
So life has been pretty crazy! I keep running into things/events that keep happening the same time and I have too choose between good things.
At this moment in time I am running for Student Body Advocate here at Snow College! This week I put up posters and I have been handing out candy telling the fellow students at Snow College to vote for me! It has been fun and tonight it is Meet the Candidates Night! and I get to dress up all pretty so that will be fun! I have always wanted to be an officer so here I am running in college just like I ran for office in High School!
This past weekend I had an Interview for working at Oakcrest! I have wanted to work there as soon as I went to the camp myself. My interview was amazing!! It was so much fun and just makes me want to work at camp even more! I just love the outdoors and I love the gospel so much so two things I love all in one would be so super duper AMAZING!!! :D
But here is the set back, If I made SBA I might not be able to work at Oakcrest, because of some leadership things I would have to attend. So it is hard to have to choose two amazing things if I get the opportunity to get the job or make office! But I do know for sure is that I am learning something from this experience and trusting in the Lord. It is in his hands. :)
My other bitter sweet news about good vs good is that My most amazing cousin Leah is getting Married and I get to be her bridesmaid! I just love this girl so much! but the sad thing is the day she is getting married is the same day that I have an Arise concert and an A'cappella concert. Man this made me heart broken when I found out that I was not missing one but two concerts. But I know where I am suppose to be, and there will be other opportunities to share my talents.
So pretty much life is so great! and full of some awesome things and sometimes we just have to choose things even though it is hard. But Christ is always with us and will help us and comfort us.
Have a Great day! hope you enjoyed reading!
Love you all! :D

I am also take institute and I am in the institute auditioned choir called Arise and I LOVE it!! I love the people and I love the songs! and we are singing at the fireside tomorrow that will be fun! I am singing soprano it is fun to sing soprano in Arise and then Alto in A'cappella working on both ranges.
This semester has been full of random things. But usually it involves laughter. There are some nights were Brittany and I will laugh until we start crying! It is so great!
Last night Ash and I watched Hitch, that was pretty sweet.

Why do I have a blog? Tis the question

Well Some of you may wonder why I have this blog, the biggest reason is because of my English class. Sounds a bit weird right? Well for my English class we have to have a blog so I did and I have come to the conclusion I like writing on it so why not make my own blog that will l have the the random stuff I can think of? Seems to fit me right? and it is stuff that I do not have to write for my English class. It will be whatever comes to my mind. So you will for sure get tons of random things. Welcome to my blog this could be an adventure. :D
